Hello, i recently instaled Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) and i have a CWP-854 wich is a wireless PCI network interface.
Whem i booted ubuntu i was happy because it suported my CWP-854 it was interface ra0, shortly after the computer started to crash, everitime e rebooted it. After a lot of time i was able to figure out that the problem was related to the CWP-854, because when deatached the antena the computer would not crash.
Later much later before trying to reinstal CWP-854, i saw someone in a forum that someone advising to do the folowing:
"You might might want to remove network-manager which I think is included in feisty.
"sudo apt-get remove network-manager-gnome" (you can always add it back with "sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome")"
at the forum no one paid atention to this because their problem was another, i decided to give it a shot before reinstaling CWP-854, so i did:
sudo apt-get remove network-manager-gnome
and uninstaled the network-manager-gnome which is just an icon on the gnome tool bar, and for my surprise it worked, the grafical network configuration wasn´t uninstaled, so no harm done, and now my ubuntu work perfectly stable as it should.

Can anyone recommend the top performing Managed Service software for a small IT service company like mine? Does anyone use Kaseya.com or GFI.com? How do they compare to these guys I found recently: N-able N-central MSP tool
? What is your best take in cost vs performance among those three? I need a good advice please... Thanks in advance!
